Antoni graduated in Medicine and Surgery from Barcelona University in 1983. In 1988, he specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
In 1989, he became Head of the Pelvic Floor Unit at Mutua de Terrassa University Hospital, Terrassa, Spain, and was appointed as Head of Department in 1999.
In the field of endoscopy, he has worked both in benign disorders (adnexal disorders, hysterectomy, myomectomy, rectovaginal septum endometriosis and genital malformation surgery) and in oncology (laparoscopic treatment of cervical, endometrial, ovarian and vaginal cancers).
Since 2008, he has played a contributory role in the introduction of high intensity ultrasound surgery in the field of gynaecology in Spain, essentially for the treatment of uterine fibroids and adenomyosis.
Since 1994, he has collaborated in the organisation of more than 30 courses on the subjects of gynaecology, endoscopy and pelvic floor surgery. He also has lectured for more than 200 national and international courses and conferences.
He actively participated in the creation, and is currently a member of the Pelvic Floor Unit of both the regional Catalan and the Spanish Obstetrics and Gynaecology Societies.
He has taught in multiple surgical training sessions in hospitals in Spain, Portugal and Belgium. In addition, he is also the author of numerous articles and book chapters published both nationally and internationally.
He is an associate professor of Gynaecology; co-director of the Master’s Degree of Advanced Gynaecological Laparoscopic Surgery at Barcelona University, Spain; co-director of the International School of Gynaecological Endoscopy (EIDEG), founded in 2007 with the support of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE); and a member of various scientific societies.
José Angel graduated in Medicine and Surgery from Zaragoza University in 1985. In 1990, he specialised in Radiology at the Santa Creu and Sant Pau Hospital in Barcelona.
In 1991, he started working in the Radiology Department at Mutua de Terrassa University Hospital, Terrassa, Spain where, in 2002, he was appointed Head of the Abdominal and Thoracic Radiodiagnostics Department.
He has been Head of the Radiology Department at the same hospital since 2013.
He is also an Associate Professor of Radiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Barcelona University, Spain.
Jordi graduated in Medicine and Surgery from Barcelona University in 2000. In 2006, he obtained the specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Since 2006, he has been a consultant physician in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Mutua de Terrassa University Hospital, Terrassa, Spain and since 2009 has formed part of the Myoma (Fibroids) Comprehensive Treatment Unit (Unitat HIFU). He is also a member of the Gynaecological Oncology Committee and the hospital’s HIFU Committee.
He has collaborated as a Scientific Advisor for Siemens AG and since 2009, as the medical director at CMD Ginobs, Barcelona, Spain. He was also Head of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Capio Clinic del Vallès, Sabadell, Spain from 2010 until January 2013.
He collaborates with the International School of Gynaecological Endoscopy (EIDEG) and teaches on the Master’s degree in Breast Health and Disease at Barcelona University, Spain.
He has participated in the organisation of, and has been a speaker for various Endoscopic surgery courses and conferences, both nationally and internationally. He also collaborates with various research teams and is the author of numerous published articles and book chapters.
Jordi graduated in Medicine and Surgery from Barcelona University in 1997. In 2005 he specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
From 2005 to 2007, he was consultant physician in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Taulí Parc Sanitària Corporació, Spain. He is currently consultant physician in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department, Mutua de Terrassa University Hospital, forming part of the HIFU Unit since 2009.
He has published numerous articles and has lectured for national and international courses and conferences.
